  • Paneer375 g
  • Garlic4.5 cloves
  • Onion1.5 medium
  • Tomato3 medium
  • Ginger1.5 tsp
  • Garam Masala1.5
  • Cream0.75 cup
  • Salt1.5 tsp

Instructions

    Blanch 1 lb fresh spinach in boiling water 30 sec. Plunge into ice water. Squeeze dry. Blend smooth with ¼ cup water.

    Heat 3 tablespoons ghee in pot. Add 1 chopped onion, cook 8 minutes until golden.

    Add 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste, 1 chopped green chili. Cook 1 min.

    Add 1 teaspoon cumin powder, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1 teaspoon garam masala, ½ teaspoon turmeric, 1.5 teaspoons salt. Cook 1 min.

    Add the spinach puree and ¼ cup water. Simmer 10 min. Stir in ½ cup heavy cream.

    Add 14 oz cubed paneer. Simmer 5 min. Finish with 1 teaspoon kasoori methi, butter pat. Serve with naan or rice.
